Introducing the 2020 Toyota Supra | Edmonton
After years of waiting, the Toyota Supra is back. The all-new 2020 Supra is more than a sports car - it's beauty, performance, and sheer driving pleasure rolled into one. The 2020 Supra perfectly blends Sports-car styling, excellent handling, and Toyota technology.
Stylish New Exterior
An athletic stance, smooth body curves, and jewel-like LED headlights turn heads and win hearts. Not just a "pretty face," the Supra's wide grille channels cool air directly to the turbocharged engine to optimize performance. A "double-bubble" roof not only adds space on the inside, and interest on the outside, it also reduces aerodynamic drag, especially at higher speeds. The Supra's flared, built-in rear spoiler reduces lift and improves handling. Dual-chrome exhaust, a trapezoidal-shaped rear bumper in black trim, Led tail lights, and alloy wheels complete the look for the world's newest roadster. Available, bold and expressive red, yellow, and blue shades will accentuate the emotional connection performance drivers enjoy with vehicles.
But does the all-new Supra perform as good as it looks? Toyota designed the 2020 Supra with one goal in mind - to build the best driver's car, period. For power, a 3.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged inline six teamed with a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, answers every request with precise control and without hesitation. Toyota engineers also moved the engine as low, and as far back as possible. This optimal location, at the center of gravity, provides a 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution. An adaptive suspension, combined with the Supra's rigid chassis and, Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, furnish sublime driving pleasure worthy of the Supra name. Brembo front brakes and an active differential provide exceptional control. The 2020 Supra delivers in the clutch, as well. With 355-horsepower, 365 lb.-ft. of torque, and a top speed of 155 MPH, the new Supra goes from zero to ninety-six Km in a scant 4.1 seconds.
Comfortable Interior and Topnotch Infotainment
On the inside, the Supra cabin blends modern technology, Toyota functionality, and traditional GT elements for supreme comfort and convenience. A low dash improves forward visibility and overall safety. A high-definition colour display consolidates information such as tach readings, and shift-timing, on the left-hand portion, and multimedia information such as audio and navigation, on the right-hand side. A full-colour Head-Up Display projects driving and navigation information, as well. An asymmetric centre console tightly envelops the driver, while the passenger's side has a more open, roomy feel. The climate control panel protrudes from the dash and allows for smooth, undistracted operation. Racing inspired heated, leather, front bucket seats feature integrated head restraints, shoulder bolsters, and a narrow main section to firmly secure both driver and passenger.
Advance Tech Features
Then, of course, the 2020 Supra will come loaded with Toyota comfort, convenience, and safety technologies. Standard amenities include Keyless Smart Entry, dual automatic climate control, a rearview camera, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and power folding mirrors. A premium 12-speaker JBL audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, an easy to use rotary touch controller, and Supra Connect telematics services provide a state-of-the-art multimedia experience.
What's "old is new again." The 2020 Toyota Supra features the perfect blend of driving pleasure, Toyota technology, sporty good looks, and the legendary "Supra" name, rolled into one.
