Toyota has long been viewed as a pioneer in the auto industry. When it comes to operational excellence, Toyota is the gold standard in manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness. This is evident for consumers as they’re able to realize significant return on investment from owning and driving a Toyota vehicle. We are always aiming to push the envelope to improve the overall driving experience for all of our customers.

Earlier this year, Toyota international made some incredible announcements for what vehicles would be coming down the pipeline in the near future. One such vehicle is the all new, all electric bZ4X.

This vehicle has been expertly engineered, and every detail has been considered when designing it. The bZ4X is the latest evolution in a long line of alternative fuel models manufactured by Toyota. The Prius’ debut overseas in 1997 set the stage for other hybrid models to join in. Currently, the Prius, Prius Prime, Corolla, Camry RAV4, RAV4 Prime, Venza, Highlander, and Sienna all have hybrid options, allowing for all car buyers to be able to purchase the vehicle of their dreams, while being conscious of their carbon footprint. The bZ4X joins this group and brings the first all-electric, mass manufactured option to Toyota’s fleet.

Bob Carter, Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) executive vice president of sales recently spoke about the bZ4X, saying: “The Toyota bZ4X concept points to yet another option in our already robust electrified portfolio… At Toyota, we are a human-centered company – the customer is our CEO and will ultimately decide which technologies will carry us toward a carbon neutral future”

Toyota currently plans to release the Toyota bZ4X in Japan and China very shortly. Following its introduction in the Asian market, worldwide sales should be available by mid-2022. With that being said, we do unfortunately have some bad news for North Americans who are itching to see one of these vehicles in person, as there is no set date for the bZ4X to be released in North America just yet, but stay tuned, it’ll be here before you know it!
