Biggest and Best Features
The 2021 Venza sets the bar high for new SUVs. A collection of tech-focused features are available, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with nine JBL speakers, 7-inch multi-information display (MID), digital rear-view mirror, and 10-inch color Head-Up Display. But the star of the new Venza (no pun intended), is the Star Gaze fixed panoramic roof with Frost Control – a roof that uses electrochromic glass technology to tint and glaze the roof instantly, controlling the amount of light you want to let into the cabin, with just the touch of a button. A feature like this was only previously only found on luxury vehicles and supercars! Of course, it’s also loaded with all the features you would expect, like heated (and available ventilated) front seats, high definition backup camera, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, and even Amazon Alexa.
Engine and Capabilities
The Toyota Hybrid System in the all new Venza utilizes a high-efficiency 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine in tandem with three electric motors to create a power and efficient system that produces 219 HP, 206 ft-lb of torque, and an average of 40MPG (5.9 L/100km) combined fuel economy! The new Venza is also equipped with Predictive Efficient Drive (PED), a system that analyzes and optimizes your fuel efficiency based on your typical driving habits, resulting in a SUV that sips fuel while getting you where you need to go in Edmonton and beyond.
The 2021 Venza also comes standard with Toyota’s Electronic On-Demand AWD system that utilizes the separate rear-mounted electric motor to power the rear wheels when needed, a much more efficient method than conventional AWD. Never fear driving through snow and icy conditions again, once a loss of traction is detected the vehicle will seamlessly send power to the wheels where the vehicle needs it most, helping the driver gain control in slick situations. In dry conditions, the Toyota Venza intially distributes up to 80% of power to the rear wheels, which can help you get off the line quicker and eliminate front wheel slip, then adjusting to deliver most or all of the power to the front wheels while you drive.
Exterior Styling and Functionality
The completely redesigned Venza has been designed to turn heads and drop jaws with it’s effortless sophistication and elegance. The coupe-like, sloping roof, thin taillights that stretch across the entire rear, massive grille, and sharp body lines tie together a design that exudes style and was made to impress. Stand out even more with the massive glass roof and available 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels that compliment the Venza’s athletic stance. Interior Styling

Step in to the SofTex wrapped driver’s seat and see a 10-inch colour head-up display as well as an impressive 12.3-inch touchscreen display with embedded navigation that’s mated to a sonically gorgeous, 1200-watt premium JBL sound system with 9 speakers. The first line of defense against noise intrusion is the high-strength TNGA-K platform that cuts vibration through the steering, floor and structure. That is just the beginning as well.
