“Tundra’s performance, capabilities, comfort, technology, and style is commanding attention from truck fans across Canada,” says Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc.

This bad boy has it all. Built in North America, the 2023 Toyota Tundra steps up and outperforms with a bold combination of everything you’re looking for in a truck. Featuring Remote Connect that allows drivers to start the engine or lock and unlock the doors through the convenience of the Toyota App using their smartphone, or the technology packed into the optional 14-inch touch screen, drivers are sure to find what they’re looking for in the 2023 Toyota Tundra that comfortably seats five people.

Turning heads

The new Toyota Tundra is completely redesigned from its original predecessor and looks fresh in 2023. The bold front grill immediately captures the eye of everyone passing by letting them know there’s something new and strikingly different on the road. Sometimes, especially with the Tundra, change is good.

The Toyota Tundra is available in two cab styles making convenience standard. Both options feature four front-hinged doors fitted perfectly to your chosen cab size: Double Cab or CrewMax.

The Toyota Tundra is the third generation of automaker’s full-sized truck and comes in seven trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and the all-new luxury-oriented Capstone trim.

Toyota wasn’t done there, though. The Double Cab with the SR, SR5, and Limited trim levels gives you the choice of a 6.5 or 8-foot (2.0 or 2.4 metre) truck bed, while the CrewMax in all trim levels offers the truck bed in 5.5 or 6.5-foot (1.7 or 2.0 metre) lengths. Every Tundra owner is sure to discover their perfect model.

The perennial favourite returns: The TRD Off-Road package. This package comes available on most Toyota Tundra models, excluding the SR, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone.

New for this model year, the SR5 trims the SX appearance package with black and dark grey elements to both the interior and exterior trim. This stealthy model is boosted with 18-inch wheels, black body trim, rear bumper, middle section, and door handles, and topped off with the darkened rear 4×4 badge. The SX appearance package is available in white, silver, grey, or black Toyota Tundra paint options.

Climb Inside

The Toyota Tundra hits the mark of excellence, combining form and function. The Tundra’s interior layout leaves a lasting impression with an optional upgrade 14-inch touchscreen that immediately captures your eye and lets you know there’s a lot to be discovered inside.

Toyota creates an oasis of luxury and functionality in the 2023 Tundra. With an optional panoramic sunroof and full-width power rear window, the Tundra feels incredibly airy and spacious.

The Toyota Tundra dashboard reminds you that you’re in a truck. Its dashboard is sleek and rich with style incorporating air vents and design lines that flow from the driver’s side to the passenger’s side bringing together the cab’s sense of unity. From the thick centre console that houses an abundance of storage to the driver information display, this Toyota proves that form and function can coexist in a perfect package. Opting for the 1794 Edition will even complete the interior with authentic wood accents. Opulence in a pickup truck.

Of course, Toyota hasn’t forgotten the backseat passengers. With ample USB access to keep accessories charged and ample space for comfort, especially in the CrewMax cab configuration, everyone will be seated in comfort and ready for the next work trip or vacation. Either way, you’re covered.

Infotainment

The Toyota Tundra comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen but drivers can experience an industry-leading 14-inch touchscreen. The onscreen menus are displayed through remarkably crisp graphics that are easy to see and easy to use. Featuring just one knob for volume, all other features are now at your fingertips on the responsive screen or on the available heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel giving drivers comfortable control while they navigate their Tundra.

As one would expect in today’s Toyota vehicles, the Toyota Tundra comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while built-in WiFi is available through a subscription.

From the commanding position of the driver’s seat of the new Toyota Tundra, drivers can easily see the instrument panel with its unique combination of gauges and digital displays. The 12.5-inch cluster is customizable to feature tow gauges, engine performance, and pitch and roll displays.

When it’s time to turn up the tunes in the Toyota Tundra, the new audio system boasts five-time the processing power over previous systems. The upgraded audio system features HD radio, Sirius XM, six speakers of JBL sound, as well as Bluetooth capability to get all the accessories connected.

Powerhouse

The Toyota Tundra looks great, but it also has what it takes to get you where you’re going. With two powertrain options, drivers choose from the iForce V6 Twin Turbo 3.5L engine that turns out 389 horsepower with 479 ft-lbs of torque, or the iForce Max Hybrid powertrain. The iForce Max combines the iForce Twin Turbo with a motor generator doling out 437 horsepower and 583 ft-lbs of torque. Both powertrains in the 2023 Toyota Tundra feature a 10-speed automatic transmission giving greater control and a smoother ride.

Towing and Storage

The Toyota Tundra offers enough towing capacity for today’s drivers. Whether travelling or working, the Tundra can haul. With up to a towing capacity of 5440 kg (12,000 lbs) and a maximum payload capacity of 880 kg (1940 lbs) in the reinforced composite truck bed, you’ll carry all you need. Toyota’s Tundra offers its Panoramic View Monitor to set the driver’s mind at ease. With towing in mind, multiple cameras provide a 360° top-down view, a truck bed monitor to keep an eye on what’s happening behind the cab, and a rear-split view to give drivers a clear view of each side of whatever is being towed. Top it all off with a hitch-view feature to make connecting the trailer simpler than ever.

The truck bed isn’t the only place for storage. Back inside the truck, the CrewMax dishes out the storage options. Tundra drivers soon discover generous under-seat storage in the back, but also in the front making the completely redesigned Toyota Tundra practical on top of the great looks.

Protect and Prevent

The Toyota Tundra was the first full-size pickup truck to earn the IIHS Top Safety Pick; the legacy continues.

Toyota’s Tundra comes loaded with automatic safety features, starting with dual front airbags, front and rear side rollover sensing side curtain airbags, and front side torso airbags.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 bring peace of mind to drivers. The advanced package of safety systems and combined capabilities makes driving the 2023 Toyota Tundra a breeze. Featuring a pre-collision system that assists in collision avoidance, especially in left-turn scenarios, the Toyota Tundra also features a speed curve management system that bolsters the radar cruise control when cornering. If that wasn’t enough, the Toyota Tundra also has an emergency assist steering allowing the Tundra to stabilize steering under certain conditions to help prevent a collision or accident.

The Toyota Tundra comes loaded with driver-assistance technology. Automatic high beams, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian and bicycle detection, and lane departure alert with enhanced road recognition. In the event of an emergency, the Toyota Tundra includes SOS assistance and roadside assistance.

Toyota has you covered

The Toyota Tundra has great reliability that comes protected with a 36-month/60,000 km limited warranty coverage. Additional coverage is available, including a 60-month/100,000 km powertrain warranty, a 96-month/160,000 km Hybrid Related Component Coverage, and a 120-month/240,000 hybrid battery warranty.
