Perched on 19-inch wheels, the standard XLE entry-level Crown already stands above the crowd. The 2024 Toyota Crown offers two powertrain options: Hybrid MAX and the Toyota Hybrid System. Toyota’s new Hybrid MAX comes available on the Platinum trim and pushes an impressive 340 horsepower, while the 2.4-litre turbocharged engine is matched with 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine is also paired with a front-mounted electric motor and rear e-Axle with a high-output, water-cooled electric motor providing a sporty driving experience and combined city/highway fuel consumption of 7.8 L/100 km.

The XLE and Limited trim lines feature the highly efficient Toyota Hybrid System. The nickel-metal hydride battery achieves a combined city/highway rating of 5.7 L/100 km and 236 horsepower with its 2.5L powerplant.

The XLE  and Limited trim offer three drive modes – Normal, ECO, and Sport – to give drivers the experience they most desire. Normal is designed for the everyday driving habits of most drivers, while the ECO mode emphasizes maximizing mileage from both the battery and fuel. Sport mode improves throttle response to accelerate the driving excitement.
